About the event

The DATAGRO Opening Crop – Sugarcane, Sugar and Ethanol is known for kicking off DATAGRO’s calendar of events and for initiating the annual planning of the brazilian sugar-energy sector, marking the opening of the new sugarcane harvest. It returns in 2026 with its 10th edition.

In 2025, the event was attended by more than 1,500 participants from different regions of the country and offered 16 hours of content presented by more than 80 renowned speakers from the sector.

At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to connect with market decision-makers, entrepreneurs, mill executives, sugarcane producers and suppliers and political leaders. Participants will have access to analyses of the results of the 2025/26 harvest and projections for the next harvest, as well as being able to take part in debates on key issues for the future of the sector, such as the dynamics of the national and global markets, sustainability, technological innovations and new strategies for diversifying the use of biofuels.
